Fabulous Sri Lankan Donation of Swimwear to Women’s Swimming Project Sri Lankan swimwear manufacturers, Linea Aqua (Pvt) Ltd, gave the Women’s Swimming Project a surprise New Year present to open up 2006 in the form of a huge selection of the latest factory-new fashion swimsuits for the ladies of Weligama. This is a very auspicious start to the year’s swimming which has seen a large influx of new swimmers. The use of the second pool allowing an extra 20 lessons a week and all the slots were filled immediately. These new swimsuits help the women to feel comfortable and confident during the lessons and confidence is what swimming is all about. The donation is especially appreciated because it is the first major one from an in-country donor. Thank you Leigh.
